Don't just take it from us! Learn about how #WRTalk has helped some of your favourite business in Waterloo Region!

Your Neighbourhood Credit Union

Joining #WRTalk has been one of the best things I have done in regards to networking. I’m not a big fan of calling it “networking” as I believe it is more of building relationships and connecting with fellow businesses and owners that are local, and being able to call on our local partners for different services. #WRTalk has made building relationships and connecting with other local businesses incredibly easy and fun. I love the weekly twitter talks and I love meeting the people face to face during the “live” events, especially after having some great get-to-know you twitter conversations. I am proud to have my organization, YNCU, sponsor the breakfast “live” events. I love being able to help support other local businesses and love being able to help with any financial questions in return. Looking forward to talking and meeting some more new people at each event, so join #WRTalk today!

#WRTalk is a weekly Twitter networking group that allowed us to make business connections in our community.  We then strengthened those relationships during the face-to-face meet ups.

The general atmosphere is easy going and built on keeping communication and sharing happening within the small business community.

We love that if we miss a meeting we just have to search the #WRTalk hashtag to get caught up. Not only that, if we have something valuable to share it always gets spread throughout the network!

Even if you’re not a business owner this is a great place for people to find good information!

I have been involved with #WRTalk for about a year and a half now and it’s been a great addition to my business.

Through attending the Twitter chats as well as in person events I have been able to build relationships with other local business owners.

We share knowledge, referrals and support each other on many levels. Some of the connections I have made through #WRTalk have also turned into clients and those opportunities arise on an ongoing basis as I continue to be involved.
